Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Camilo Solutions, Inc. ("the Application") handles your information. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.
Information the Application Stores
Camilo AWS Solutions is a desktop-first application. All information you provide is stored locally on your own computer. We do not collect or transmit your data to third-party servers, with the exception of interactions you explicitly authorize with cloud services like Google Drive.
- Application Configuration Data: Your AWS settings (SSO URL, region, etc.) and application preferences are saved in a local database on your computer.
- Google Authentication Tokens: If you use the backup feature with Google Drive, the application requests your consent to access your account. Once granted, the application stores an access token and a refresh token securely and locally on your machine. These tokens are the only Google user data that is stored.
Use, Sharing, and Storage of Google User Data
Camilo AWS Solutions's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data Accessed: The application uses the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This scope allows the application to create, view, modify, and delete only the files it has created itself in your Google Drive. The application does not have access to any other files or folders in your account.
- Data Usage: The authentication tokens and the permission are used exclusively for the backup and restore functionality. The application uploads a single backup file (
camilo_backup.zip) to a specific application folder in your Google Drive and downloads it when you request a restore.
- Data Sharing: We do not share your Google user data with anyone. The tokens are stored locally on your computer and are only used to communicate directly with Google's APIs. They are not sent to any other server or third party.
- Data Storage & Protection: Google authentication tokens are stored on your computer's local file system, protected by the security measures of your own operating system.
